After more than 40 years working in retail for major companies, Charlie Hayes felt a shift in his heart. Years of experience had prepared him well, but it was faith-and a quiet nudge from above-that led him to take the leap into entrepreneurship.

With the support of his two loving children, close friends, family members and a lot of prayer, Charlie opened Factory Direct Mattress in Norman, OK.

The goal? Simple. To help Norman sleep better-with quality mattresses at honest prices, and the kind of customer care only a seasoned pro could deliver.

Charlie often says, “God opened the doors. I just walked through them.” Now, each day he serves his community not just with products, but with purpose.
